CustomCrosshair draws your own crosshair on top of all other windows. It works
independently and lets you choose any bitmap to use as a crosshair.
Installation--------------------------
CustomCrosshair does not need to be installed. Just download the program and unzip
the file. The program can be started with customCrosshair.exe. To deinstall
CustomCrosshair, just delete the CustomCrosshair-directory.
Use
--------------------------In the main-window you can choose a couple of settings:
- Show Crosshair: activates/deactivates the Crosshair. Can be toggled with
shortcut 1, too.
- Hide Cursor: activates/deactivates (globally) the mouse-cursor. When using
CustomCrosshair, some games show (wrongly) the mouse-cursor and the mouse-cursor
flickers over the crosshair. I found no other solution to this problem than
(globally) disabling the diplay of the mouse-cursor. Can be toggled with
shortcut 2, too.
- Crosshair Load: loads any .bmp-file as crosshair.
- Shortcut 1 and 2: defines the shortcuts. To toggle the crosshair and the
mouse-cursor from within the game, CustomCrosshair uses these two system-wide
shortcuts.
- Offset: displaces the crosshair on the screen. Could be useful if the position
of the CustomCrosshair does not match the position of the game-crosshair.
CustomCrosshair saves its settings automatically (in customCH.ini).
Create own crosshairs--------------------------
CustomCrosshair can use any .bmp-file as crosshair. Every image editing program
can be used to create suitable bitmaps.
Notice that white (255,255,255) is treated as "transparent".
(The transparency-color can be changed in config.ini)
